About Me
Marlon Alvamar was born and raised in Irvington, New Jersey. Utah Valley University is his alma mater, he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Science. He’s the youngest of five siblings and was primarily raised as a single child by his mother. He’s a US Air Force military veteran and currently a First Officer at American Airlines. He’s also the author of When Dreams Take Flight: From Hell to Heavenly Skies.
Marlon is living proof that you can have the life you want, in spite of the life you were born into. He’s always known that one day he’d tell his story to the world in hopes that it would inspire others to continue the pursuit of their dreams. And his motto has always been: “Live your dreams to the fullest. Let nothing and no one stand in your way!”
He admits to being a workaholic and fitness fanatic, but when time permits he takes full advantage of his travel benefits, whether it’s planning a weekend trip with friends to Vegas or travel abroad to places like Dubai, the Czech Republic, and Germany.
Charlotte, North Carolina is where Marlon calls home, but he hopes to lay permanent roots in South Florida someday.
